Hello AdHack folks! My name is Rafael Ziah Franco and I am a media content creator. My chosen fields of expression are live action and motion design, which basically means I go gaga over anything that moves cleverly on a stage, set or on a screen.

Artistically, I most often explore de-constructive alternatives to established narrative and relationships between form and motion. Professionally I am mostly known for my creative abilities, motion design work, VJ chops, dramatic and industrial scriptwriting and uber cool production management skills.

My films and video works have been shown internationally in film festivals such as the XXII Festival Internacional de Cine de Bogotá and have also been showcased in solo and group art/video exhibitions. My broadcast design work has found outlets in North America through networks such as NBC, A&E, CBC and CTV.

I was born in Bogotá Colombia, growing up among artists. Setting sail for North America at age 18, I studied TV/Film Production at the University of California Los Angeles, furthering my studies in Graphic Arts at the University of California Irvine.

Upon finishing university, I worked in television and film in Los Angeles, Venezuela, Halifax and The Bahamas as Cameraman, Editor and Motion Graphics Artist.

Having married a Canadian and moving to The Great White North in 2005, I currently work as a freelance content producer and motion designer in Toronto.

I also write dramatic scripts and create projects that explore perspectives in performance, digital cinema and multimedia with my lovely wife Rachel, who is a choreographer and performer.
