Nissan Stainless mug beats up cups

I wanted to show one of the small changes I've made to be more environmentally aware of the full load of my decisions. A daily coffee in a paper cup creates a huge waste of paper for little to no benefit. A reusable mug provides a simple alternative with benefits: lower cost, better carrying, improved heat retention and lack of spillage. Why don't we all employ a reusable mug?

I shot this photo in the window of the coffee shop I go to most days for my morning coffee. 'Less than the price of a cup of coffee a day...' is a classic sales come-on line, so I thought I'd repurpose it here in a literal sense. At all coffee shops I've visited a refillable mug <em>is</em> less than a paper cup of coffee. Better price. No waste. Rinse and repeat.
