This is my first submission for the Canpages ring tone commission. I hope to submit more by the end of the week. Any feedback would be great!

Edit V. 1.1:

-Removed Vocoder effect from vocals.

-EQ'd some of the unnecessary bass frequencies from the drums and beat box loop.

Next Edit:

-Changing Scripting to be more indicative of the SMS Service.

Totally commercial.

Totally commercial. Production is top notch. Levels were done smart, putting a strong emphasis on the call to action over the backing instrumental. Not to mention it's a sick beat - period.

On the flip side, I wonder if it's ... too commercial? I see this as a radio spot more than as a ringtone. Don't get me wrong - it's SUPER class, but I can't help but think someone turned the TV on when I hear this.

If I didn't have to rally around my flag, I'd be voting proud on this. :o

In terms of initial feedback / random thoughts....

1. I like the 'sound'
2. I am not sure quite what they meant by 'destination'
3. Probably would need to spell out TXT411 as opposed to 'text411'
4. Probably would be good to have the TXT411 mentioned up front rather than at the back end in case the call is answered quickly.

I like it but the voice needs to POP more.. up the volume on it or down the background music because its hard to make out the words.. I could hear it fine.. just not clearly.
